highpriority · track · 0EPSS 0.003 · 27 %ileDEEUUSEPSS · scored 2026-10-27
A vulnerability has been identified in Parasolid V33.1 (All versions < V33.1.264), Parasolid V34.0 (All versions < V34.0.252), Parasolid V34.1 (All versions < V34.1.242), Parasolid V35.0 (All versions < V35.0.170), Solid Edge SE2022 (All versions < V222.0MP12), Solid Edge SE2022 (All versions), Solid Edge SE2023 (All versions < V223.0Update2). The affected applications contain an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated structure while parsing specially crafted X_B files. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-19383)

- SSA-491245SSA-491245: Multiple File Parsing Vulnerabilities in Solid Edge2023-02-14csaf · siemens_psirtDE
Solid Edge is affected by multiple memory corruption vulnerabilities that could be triggered when the application reads specially crafted files in various formats such as X_B, DWG, DXF, STL, STP, SLDPRT and PAR format. If a user is tricked to open a malicious file with the affected applications, an attacker could leverage the vulnerability to crash the application, extract data or potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. Siemens has released updates for the affected products and recommends to update to the latest versions.
- SSA-588101SSA-588101: Multiple File Parsing Vulnerabilities in Parasolid2022-12-13csaf · siemens_psirtDE
Parasolid is affected by out of bounds read/write vulnerabilities that could be triggered when the application reads files in X_B format. If a user is tricked to open a malicious file with the affected applications, an attacker could leverage the vulnerability to perform remote code execution in the context of the current process. Siemens has released updates for the affected products and recommends to update to the latest versions.
